Everything you put in Twine, your dates, memories, wishes, and surprises, is encrypted on your phone before it ever leaves the device. Only the two of you hold the keys. No one else, not the server, not the developer, can read your content.

We see only encrypted data and the minimum routing information needed to sync between your two phones. That is the entire point.

If you get a new phone, your shared space restores automatically from iCloud or Google Block Store. You can also set a 6-digit PIN backup, or ask your partner to re-key you in. No 12-word phrases to memorize or lose.
